Aquaria
Born of two races, but belonging to neither, Makender's life as an outcast has been filled with tribulation. The half Mer shifter half Sanguinarii blood drinker learns of his royal lineage following the death of his father, the Mer king Thracos, ruler of Aquaria. As the only living heir, Makender is named successor to the Mer throne.
Can an ostracized half-blood gain the respect of the Mer people before Aquaria is plunged into civil war? Can he ascend to the kingship without alienating his Sanguinarii side?
