Sun God
In the latter part of the 21st century, man branched out to the far horizons of space as a means of controlling the ever-increasing population. The space station Mir had only been the beginning. Scientists took inspiration from the Soviet station and created an expansive project to set up colony stations from Earth to Mars and then to colonize Mars itself.
It was forward thinking for the time but it also turned out to be a necessary step to ensure the survival of the human race. Over the next century, the human condition began to deteriorate and the Earth itself began to suffer.
Madu, a man some called a prophet, others called lunatic, driven by the voice of Re, the Egyptian god of the sun, led a group of followers to one of the colony stations. He proclaimed himself High Prophet of Re and assumed leadership of the cult. The colony flourished and Madu's descendents continued to lead the colony all the way down to the current High Prophet, Kalduun.
Kalduun is unmarried and his advisors fear for the future of their leadership.
Zulek'ha is the stunningly beautiful daughter of Sadiki, one of the High Prophet's closest advisors. She was raised with one purpose in mind, to become the concubine and perhaps even the mate of the High Prophet. She has a lot of competition though.
Will Kalduun open his heart to Zulek'ha or one of his other concubines? Or will threats from outside the colony destroy it first?
